Sunbeam offered a Photography Workshop in the fall of 2017.
Cambridge photographer, Stan Switalski, spent the day with 4 budding artists. The group spent the day downtown Cambridge learning about angles, lighting, and composition. They experienced shooting portraits (you will see the lovely models in a photo below!), and then headed to the market for some lessons in capturing the vibrant colours and textures offered up by the fresh produce for some still life learning. The group was lucky as well to have the opportunity to work with one of Cambridge’s spectacular murals as a backdrop for some of their day.
Sunbeam is so glad to be able to support so many unique individuals, and to help discover, uncover, and hone their individual skills and passions. The group has already requested a springtime workshop – we can’t wait to see the work they do there. Perhaps a Gallery Night will be in order. Stay tuned!
