Policy & Client Rights Bulletins

Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services (SCDS) operates under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Measures (QAM) Compliance program for individuals 18+, and the Children’s Licensing program for those under the age of 18, as supervised by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.  These compliance programs ensure that Sunbeam meets or exceeds the quality assurance standards in the provision of services, and also provide guidance to policy development related to services offered by Sunbeam.

At least annually, the compliance standards for client rights are reviewed and updated as required for each program area to ensure that policies and practices remain in compliance with quality standards.

All clients are to be informed of their rights and one method to do this is by publishing our Client Right Bulletins including policy summaries for clients and their Advocates to review.

For further information about these policy bulletins, or related policies referred to herein, please contact our Compliance & Quality Assurance department by telephone at 519-893-6200 or by email at CQA@sunbeamcommunity.ca.
