The 2025 Belongathon

On Saturday, June 7, Sunbeam was proud to participate in the Belongathon. This free, inclusive walk-and-roll event brings people of all abilities together in support of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Organized by Karis Disability Services, the Belongathon raises awareness and vital funds for programs that promote inclusion, both here in Canada and globally. From accessible walking routes to crafts, games, and music, this community celebration is designed for all ages and abilities.

We were so proud to see so many participants from the Sunbeam community taking part in this year’s Belongathon. This occasion is more than just a fundraiser or event, it’s a powerful celebration of inclusion, connection, and community spirit. Whether people joined as participants, supporters, volunteers, or cheerleaders, their involvement sends a clear message that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
