Meet Bailey!

Bailey joined Sunbeam Developmental Resource Centre in July 2024 because she cares deeply about helping families navigate supports for children with complex needs.

In this role, Bailey walks alongside families. She listens, problem-solves, and coordinates resources so they don’t have to navigate systems alone. “The most rewarding part of my job is knowing I’ve made a real difference in someone’s life. There’s nothing better than seeing a family feel hopeful again after struggling to find support.”

Her favourite moment? Seeing the pride and happiness on a client’s face when they reach a goal, big or small. Whether it’s a child making progress or a family finally finding the right help, those milestones are why this work matters.

Outside of Sunbeam, Bailey serves on the Board of Directors for YWCA Cambridge and volunteers on the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region 24-hour hotline, offering support when it’s needed most. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking and often shares simple, comforting recipes with her family.
