Meet Diane!

Diane has been with Sunbeam for many years; we couldn’t be happier. Diane came to Vos House on an emergency basis in April 2019 to receive support with some complex needs. By the end of that year, she transitioned to Breckwood, where she continues to reside today.

Diane is fluent in both Portuguese and English. With her vibrant personality, she has a unique way of capturing hearts, especially if you take the time to get to truly know her. Although her time at Vos was brief, the staff still eagerly rush to greet her whenever they see her, a testament to the bond they share.

Diane has two sisters who live in homes with other Community Living organizations locally. When the three of them reunite, the room comes alive with love, laughter, and the playful teasing that only siblings can share. Diane enjoys singing along to her favourite songs, being surrounded by family and friends, engaging in conversations, and, of course, asking for plenty of hugs.
