Purple Day Epilepsy Awareness

Sunbeam Community and Developmental Services actively participates in Purple Day to promote epilepsy awareness.

On March 26, staff and community members are encouraged to wear purple in solidarity, to recognize the global movement and share information about epilepsy to educate others and reduce stigma. This engagement aligns with Sunbeam’s commitment to enhancing quality of life and fostering inclusion for those they serve, many of whom may face neurological conditions, including epilepsy.

In Canada, where Purple Day is officially recognized, such community involvement helps amplify the message that people with epilepsy deserve understanding and support.
