Sunbeam Volunteers at the 2026 Elmira Maple Syrup Festival
The 2026 Elmira Maple Syrup Festival proved a resounding success, drawing tens of thousands of visitors to downtown Elmira, Ontario, on April 11 for the world’s largest one-day maple syrup celebration. Attendees enjoyed a fun-filled day of family activities, live demonstrations, and sweet treats amid perfect spring weather that enhanced the festive atmosphere.
Crowds flocked to sample award-winning maple syrup from Maple Tap Farm and indulge in fresh pancakes. Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services volunteers played a key role, cheerfully making and serving pancakes that delighted festival-goers and supported the community spirit.
With over 2,400 volunteers contributing, the 62nd annual event once again highlighted Elmira’s vibrant heritage and warm hospitality, creating lasting memories for all.
