National Day for Truth & Reconciliation / Orange Shirt Day

At Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services, we honour National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day, on September 30. This day remembers the children who attended residential schools, the survivors, and the lasting impacts on Indigenous communities. Everyone is encouraged to wear orange to show that every child matters.

We listen, learn, and support efforts toward healing, understanding, and true reconciliation. Together, we build a more respectful and equitable future for everyone.
