Meet Rama!

After moving to Canada with her family from Syria, Rama joined the Sunbeam Community at Vos Group Home in 2018. Fun Fact: Rama is bilingual! She understands Arabic and English.

Rama’s caring and compassionate nature shines through in the way she values her housemates and likes to know they are well supported.

Walking around the mall is one of Rama’s favourite outings. Rama has a strong sense of style and loves shopping for her own clothing, and hair accessories. Rama loves having her hair done, and her nails painted. Rama looks forward to her weekly nail change and really enjoys one-on-one time.

Rama’s favourite activities include dancing, dance parties, music and music therapy, school choir, crafts, story time, baking, sampling tasty treats, and going to the movies. Rama has a keen interest in watches, and borrowing a watch from a friend or support staff member always feels extra special for Rama.

Purple is Rama’s favourite colour, and her beautiful smile and infectious laugh brighten every room.
