Sunbeam Benefitting from Vidyard “Give Back Days”

Vidyard Logo

At its core, Vidyard is a relatively new tech company that has made a name for itself by becoming the leading video platform for more than 200,000 unique businesses.  By providing video messaging and video hosting tools, businesses can engage their customers and prospects more effectively.

On a local level, Vidyard also makes an impact through their community engagement program aptly named “Give Back Days”. Through this program, Vidyard asks that a group of staff volunteers donate their time and resources during the last 2 weeks of November every year to supporting various local nonprofit organizations. We unfortunately were unable to meet with any of the staff in person as they’ve had to shift from offering supports in person to virtually through COVID but continue to make strong positive impacts nonetheless.

Laura Galbraith, the Director of Community Impact, has from an early age learned that giving back to her local community was important and has been actively promoting charitable work from early adulthood. Now as the Director of Community Impact, her role includes seeking opportunities in which Vidyard can further strengthen community ties and enhance services for those that rely on them. Over the course of this program, Vidyard has contributed over 1500 volunteer hours towards this cause.

With the re-opening of Sunbeam’s Kid’s Hub Children’s Overnight Respite in November of 2021 and the anticipated re-opening of  “My Dental Clinic” Specialized Dental Services scheduled in early January, Vidyard has selected to support Sunbeam and have taken on several projects where they assigned volunteers based on specific areas of knowledge and experience which will help us continue foster inclusive communities where people of all abilities are valued and encouraged to achieve recognition of their value in the community.

We are honored to have the opportunity to partner with Vidyard and are looking forward to fostering a relationship with them and future supporters of Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services in the years to come.
