Sunbeam Kids Day

On Saturday August 20th, Sunbeam hosted its very first “Sunbeam Kids Day” at our Kingsway Campus. It was a day to celebrate children, Sunbeam style. Over 60 kids came and enjoyed the festivities – children from Sunbeam’s group home programs, children of Sunbeam staff, and children supported in the community were all in attendance – with family, friends, support staff, and many other Sunbeam clients joined in on the fun. Games, face painting, ice cream / snow cones, a photobooth, a scavenger hunt and even a raffle to give away some great prizes helped make the day fun filled for everyone. A great big thank you to the event organizers, and many helpers came out to support the day – staff, management, volunteers, families and community members.
