Meet CLS Supervisor, Adrian

After serving as a Behavioural Consultant throughout Wellington County and Waterloo Region, Adrian joined the Sunbeam team in 2017 as a CLS Supervisor. He was onboarded to open a new home for individuals with high behavioural support needs and, after succeeding in this, remained supporting the team and residents for the next 8 years. Throughout his time with Sunbeam, Adrian has supported multiple other homes both as Supervisor and CLS’s in-house expert, supporting individuals with high behavioural support needs.

Adrian has been actively involved in all things CLS: acting as a Non-Crisis Intervention (NCI) Trainer, Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behaviour (UMAB), and now Safe Management Group (SMG) Crisis Intervention Trainer, a member of the Third Party Review Committee, and spear-heading Sunbeam’s involvement in the Kitchener Santa Claus Parade in 2019, just to name a few.

Adrian loves that at Sunbeam, there is a focus on looking past the diagnoses written on paper and truly seeing the wonderful people Sunbeam is committed to supporting. Adrian strives to support all persons served in achieving their best lives and reaching whatever goals they may have, regardless of the “barriers” they may face.

Every day brings new challenges for Adrian, but the joy of witnessing the smiles of the people Sunbeam supports as they achieve their goals makes every moment worthwhile.
Adrian, thank you for your dedication!
