Meet Cole!

Cole is happy, energetic and full of love. For the past 8 years, he has called two different children’s group homes with Parents for Community Living (PCL) his home.

Cole loves swimming, music, playing drums, biking on his tandem bike with his Dad, going on trail walks, sledding, and exploring parks and restaurants in the community.

He’s sweet, funny, and loves being playful and silly with the caring staff members he’s gotten to know over the years at both PCL and Sunbeam Developmental Resource Centre (SDRC).

Cole’s family has greatly benefited from the unwavering support and the strong partnership between PCL and SDRC. Through programs like Brightside ABA, private speech therapy, and the daily living support Cole receives at PCL, he has developed many valuable skills.

These skills have truly opened up Cole’s world. He continues to grow and thrive as an active and involved member of the Kitchener-Waterloo community. Cole’s family is deeply grateful for the collaborative efforts between PCL and SDRC, and for all the work that has helped Cole lead a fulfilling and meaningful life.
