Brightside’s One Year at The Family Centre!

Say hello to Paul, a friendly, outgoing, and warm-hearted member of the Sunbeam Community!

Paul has spent his whole life in the Kitchener-Waterloo area and has proudly called Sunbeam home for the past 3 years. You’ll often find him greeting others with a smile, enjoying the sunshine, or chatting with friends in the Loft while listening to his favourite records.

Before moving to Sunbeam, Paul worked as a greeter at Zellers for 15 years, and later at The Working Centre, always bringing joy to those around him. At Sunbeam, he’s lived in the Apartment Program, LifeSkills, and now at Whaley, where he continues to build connections and create lasting memories.

Paul is a huge fan of country music (Kenny Rogers tops the list), action and comedy movies, and is a master of movie trivia! Fun fact: he’s seen Kenny Rogers live, twice! And also caught Anne Murray and Roger Whittaker in concert!

One of Paul’s favourite Sunbeam moments? Getting to know so many amazing people. Whether he’s baking with Ed from Rec & Wellness, enjoying music in the Loft, or just saying “hello,” Paul’s energy is unforgettable.
