Sunbeam’s Annual Door Decorating Contest Brings Holiday Cheer Once Again

This year’s Sunbeam’s Door Decorating Contest was a resounding success, with staff channeling their creativity and Christmas Holiday spirit.

In fact, every department across Sunbeam joined in the festive fun and had their own separate judging due to logistics.

Both staff and the individuals we serve took part in the judging at Kingsway—and they certainly weren’t shy about voicing their opinions!

The doors seem to get more creative year after year, making it a tough decision for voters. Congratulations to our winners—and to everyone who participated!

A popular theme across many doors was none other than Tim Wilson, Sunbeam’s Chief Administrative Officer. Despite the enthusiastic tributes, Tim’s own impressive entry didn’t quite crack the top three.

“I really thought I had a shot at winning this year,” Tim admitted with a grin. “I was a little disappointed, to be honest. I was close to appealing the decision, but I didn’t want to be a Grinch,” also said with a grin. “In the end, I trust our judges—they’re never wrong. Congratulations to the well-deserved winners!”
