Grant Funding Available for Family Support Networks

The Ontario Caregiver Organization (OCO) is providing one-time capacity building grants to support new and existing Family Support Networks (FSNs) in Ontario. FSNs are critical peer-led networks for families and caregivers of adults with a developmental disability, offering connection, shared information, and mutual support within their communities.

The purpose of OCO’s Capacity-Building Grants program is to make it easier for families and caregivers to find peer support, build network capacity, and develop tools and resources to better serve their members. Since 2020–21, the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) has funded OCO to strengthen and expand FSNs across the province.

We are pleased to inform you that the 2026–27 call for applicationshas now launched. Capacity‑building grants are open to both new and established FSNs that support adults with a developmental disability. Grant guidelines, eligibility details, and the online application form are available on the OCO website (English and French):

The deadline to apply is 4:00pm, March 13, 2026, and two virtual information session will be held via Zoom on the following dates:
