Meet Christina!

I am currently the Developmental Services Ontario Housing Navigator at Sunbeam, and I have been a part of the team for the past seven years. In my role, I support individuals, families, and others in the community in learning about and exploring alternative housing options, while also connecting them to resources, working with community partners, and advocating for their needs. I work closely with housing and community partners across central west region to raise awareness of the housing needs of people with developmental disabilities through advocacy, education, and involvement in community events. What I enjoy most about working at Sunbeam is the sense of purpose in helping people build greater independence, along with being part of a supportive and dedicated team that truly cares about the individuals we serve.

It’s hard to choose just one memorable moment, as there have been many over the years. What stands out most is the strong collaboration between departments at Sunbeam—seeing teams come together to support individuals in creative and meaningful ways is always rewarding. Outside of work, I enjoy long-distance running, cooking, spending time with my family, and traveling whenever I get the chance.
