Staff Appreciation BBQ!

We are so incredibly fortunate to have such dedicated and resilient staff.

Sunbeam held a staff appreciation BBQ on June 22 to celebrate the many contributions of the people that work so hard making Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services the amazing place it is. With the support of our Board of Directors and leadership team, food and drinks were served to staff who were able to participate in person throughout this particularly hot summer day.

Additionally, there were messages of gratitude from representatives of the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, our board members, as well as our leadership team, which were shared virtually so everyone could take part.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this event a success including ForeQuarter Butcher Shop, Ammar’s Halal Meats and 1001 Nights Shawarma for their donations of food to feed everyone who was able to visit. We wouldn’t have been able to prepare all of the food without the two BBQ’‘s loaned to us by Onward Manufacturing.

The many smiles on the faces of our staff picking up their meals throughout the day was wonderful to see!
