Inclusive Living Services and our Homes
Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services has a broad network of inclusive living group homes and overnight respite locations in community neighborhoods, each offering the comforts of home and the reassuring supports to meet the varying needs of our persons served. Both long-term and overnight respite supports are available. A holistic, needs-based approach is used, in concert with families, to develop a “person-centred care plan” that describes the supports to be delivered, as well as the preferences and goals of the person served.

Community Congregate Living Homes
Numerous recreation and social activities are provided within the homes and programs, as well as through its Day Program and Recreation and Wellness Program. Events, activities and outings are tailored to the needs and preferences of the people we support, and amenities and services such as Sunbeam’s therapy pool, snoezelen spa, specialized dental clinic and seating clinic are also available to the community.
Overnight Respite & Short Term Support
Sunbeam’s respite program services children and adults having special needs, including but not limited to persons who are medically fragile / technologically dependent. We currently offer respite services at three different locations across Waterloo Region. Please contact us to learn more about overnight respite stay options for children and adults.
